When I first landed in Siquijor as a Digital Nomad back in 2023, it felt like I had discovered a secret no one else knew. Every now and then, I’d spot another nomad—someone with a MacBook, headphones on, sitting quietly in a tropical café. You know who you are. 😉
But something has shifted.
2025 is shaping up to be the year Digital Nomads finally discover Siquijor.
The island now has Eden—the first and only Coworking Space in Siquijor (open 24/7, solar-powered, Starlink WiFi... you get the vibe). And that was a game changer.
But it’s not just Eden.
New cafés, restaurants, boutique villas, and charming hostels have started popping up, making life as a nomad here more comfortable—without turning the island into a circus.
Let me be clear: Siquijor is still peaceful. Still raw. Still beautiful. But if you know how these things go… you also know this won’t last forever.
In a few years, we’ll probably say the same thing people say about Bali now: “It was magical 20 years ago.” Well, this is Siquijor’s time.
